Here's kinda a rundown of messengers that I use and what I think about them. I'll even give you links to download them if you don't already have them. I chat via yahoo - when I'm online - its online. So if you're looking for something in particular and not sure that I do this or that etc - message me first! Other ids such as msn etc I just log on for shows. Its too hard keeping all of my ids on and chatting.
My webcam is a logitech 9000 and I am on a fiberoptic connection with a speed of 1mb per second UPLOAD. I'm a pretty gadgety girl so I always have the top of the line stuff.
I have yahoo, msn, eyeball, skype, gtalk and logitech vid.
Yahoo is yahoo - its predictibly crappy... it works but its got its typical flaws that are pretty predictable. Its not the clearest or fastest of cam softwares and it always freezes 2 times within the first 2min of a show. I've gotten used to the timing and can typically catch the freezes on a nice titty shot or something... but its always there. The big positive about yahoo is that it works 98% of the time and if something happens its typically a simple restart yahoo to fix it. If you're on a slower connection such as dsl this is probably what you're going to have to use. Its mac/pc friendly.

Msn if probably my favorite, mainly because its pretty good quality and easy to use. Its not the clearest software out there but its leaps and bounds clearer than yahoo. I have on occasion had guys that it just won't work with but from my experience its been with guys on a slower connection. If your connection is good its a very good option. Its pc only. Msn is available for mac but doesn't support cam.

I've recently updated my eyeball. Its pretty awesome if you have the latest version. Unfortunately, the older version doesn't cooperate well with the new one so if you have the older one please update it or it won't work. This is pc only.

I'm pretty new to skype. I'd tried it before about 2 years ago on my mac and it used to totally lock up my computer everytime. I keep hearing over and over how great it is and logitech really recommends it with their cams. I figured hey, I'll give it another try and it seems to be a new version. I haven't used it yet aside from testing it out with a friend to see that it works. Seemed nice from what I saw. Its pc/mac compatible.

Gtalk is done by google. It runs thru your gmail. Its honestly the clearest thing I've ever used. Only problem with it is that you really have to make sure to install it right. You must install the application on your computer, install the plugin to your browser and restart. If you do not do these things, it will not work. The cam software must run in your gmail. Its honestly great! It goes full screen and is like watching tv. Once you have it and its installed right - its clear sailing. Its great for both pc and mac.

I've recently installed something new called logitech vid. Its cam software created by logitech thats supposed to take advantage of the cam to the best of its ability. It is very clear from what I've tested out - however I've only been able to figure out how to do my cam only.... not cam2cam. I think if you have a logitech webcam too it should work fine.
Check it out and download logitech vid if you think you'd like it.
